In 2012 Kori Ashton co-founded a digital marketing agency in Texas called WebTegrity. During that time she was listed as one of seven women who ran tech startups in San Antonio to watch. Just four short years later WebTegrity was ranked sixth in San Antonio and she sold the company and experienced another dream of becoming a millionaire. Her entrepreneurial journey is what powers her to give back to others who want to achieve that success. The lessons learned and the resources discovered are all part of her shared strategy and business coaching.

  1. This is the second time I stumbled into your video. And this is just as helpful and as easy and clear to understand as the first. Thanks for these useful contents, Kori. And hello, Andy!

  2. Hi there! This might be a silly question, but I'm considering doing your second option of creating a form and just building my own list. However, if I do, I wasn't sure about how they would be able to unsubscribe. Any help would be great! Also, your son is super cute!!!

  3. I was about to hit the subscribe button when you brought your little baby boy on screen. ADORABLE! Nice touch! 🙂 He's a cutie! I love the hat he's wearing too. Thank you for the video as well. Just what I needed. I like all your videos.

  4. Thanks for your help. Question: How do I add a subscription link to Pinterest when I want to offer a free workbook in my Dropbox?

  5. Really helpful advice explained clearly, I would love to know what you use to do the videos, that allows you to move the camera shot around and size it down – Your son is cute

  6. I am using the plug in "Email Subscribers" to email out a newsletter via Cron. I have sent the newsletter, but it hasn't sent. It is stuck "In Queue" and hasn't sent. it was unconfirmed. How can I solve it?????

  7. You're the best! I met you at the WordCamp in San Antonio in 2016 and knew right away you're a great person to learn from. Just subscribed and am looking forward to hearing more from you!

  8. Speaking of Subscribe, could you talk about the e-mail list services like Aweber, Mailchimp etc. I am looking to subscribe to one of these services and I do not know which one to choose. Thank you for all you do.

  9. I recently added a pop up email page using WP popup plugin merged with mailchimp. Once my popup happens, you can write your name and email address; then hit subscribe. Once that happens, if i go to mailchimp I can see who has subscribe to my email list. My question: Is there a way for my pop up page, once someone hits my subscribe button, to have my subscribe button to go to another page. Basically, can I make my subscription button with mailchimp link to another page with my website? If not, can someone explain the difference betwenn a popup page verses a landing/opt in page?

  10. I get an XML page when I type my wordpress domain/feed. I don't get a well-formatted html page. What's going on? Has WordPress updated this feature since this video was produced?

  11. Hey Kori,

thank you so much for posting this! I like the first option you presented best. I wanted my subscription to function like youtube's subscription button.

I found the RSS page like you said, but I'm unsure as to how to link it to my homepage. Help?

  12. Thanks for this video. I'm completely new to this and am in need of a little guidance. I have the plugin activated on wordpress that allows people to "subscribe" and get notified of when I post something new. I have over six hundred subscribers, but I have no idea of how to harvest those. From your video I'm getting the impression that they're just subscribers whose emails I just won't be able to capture. Is that true, or is there another way to do what you instruct in the video and retrieve those emails? Your son is beautiful, by the way.

  13. Lovely video content! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried – Tarbbatigan Social Plugin Tip (search on google)? It is a good one off guide for learning how to get more email subscribers without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.
