  1. Practically every bottled Asian sauce you find in US grocery stores tastes like corn syrup. Once a year or so, I make the mistake of trying one. I'm never satisfied.

  2. If you do the chicken parts sous vide to 140° for at least an hour you don't have to cook them over the grill. 
    You can have your chicken parts (legs or thighs) ready and waiting in the fridge days before. 
    The only thing you're doing at the grill is adding some color and flavor, (of course,) courtesy of the Maillard process and which only takes about two minutes.
