  1. Thank you Vinod, i had to remove mysql 5.1.66 and install using rpm packages. it took whole day to figure out bunch of other issue on my machine, but your video made it very clear. thanks for that.

    i had to remove existing packages.

    rpm -e –nodeps <pkg_name> for all mysql related package, becuase yum remove mysql-server still left some other packages which were confilicting with my mysql 5.7. m12 version.

    Facing problem in starting mysql server.

    Here is the error
    [[email protected] mysql]# service mysql start
    Starting MySQL. ERROR! The server quit without updating PID file (/var/lib/mysql/localhost.localdomain.pid).

    i have tried renaming the file my.conf still no progress. can u help me plz

    I have used nmon utility to monitor CPU, RAM .etct activities. If you have Ubuntu/Debian system then you can install it by using apt-get install nmon & yum install nmon for RHEL/Centos.
