InMotion Hosting is almost 20 years old. Are they just a relic of the past or are they actually worth using? Find out in this InMotion Hosting review.

For this InMotion Hosting review I bought one of their plans and wanted to take a look at their pricing model, performance, features and back-end capabilities in-depth. My main goal is to provide a data and fact based InMotion Hosting review.

As my InMotion Hosting review shows InMotion charges quite a lot for their plans. They’re almost 2 or 3 times more expensive than similar options that are available. However, if you want a 50% discount on your InMotion Hosting plans use this discount link.

Even though InMotion is more expensive than other provides it offers much more features as well. Even the cheapest plan allows you to host up to 2 websites at once and offers you more data and resources for your websites. However, if you’re not planning to use 2 websites and you only want to host one. I recommend you check out Bluehost.

InMotion Hosting performance is just what you expect from an expensive web hosting provider in 2019. They’re both fast and stable. By using UpTime robot and GTMetrix I was able to measure how often my InMotion Hosting website goes offline and how fast it loads an empty WordPress website.

As this InMotion Hosting review showed my website was offline for just 1 minute and InMotion Hosting loaded my website in just 0.7s. Honestly, that’s really fast because previously the same speed was only achieved by A2 hosting and they’re much more expensive than InMotion.
Moving on to InMotion Hosting features. They have everything you might expect from a professional web hosting company as well. Following this InMotion Hosting review I can confidently say that InMotion offers easy to use (cPanel based) solutions for professional email creation and WordPress installation.

You will be able to install WordPress to your website with just 1 click. And creating an email that has your domain name doesn’t take more than a couple of seconds.
During this InMotion Hosting review I’ve also had a pleasure to talk with their support agents. I had 2 interactions in total and in both cases they’ve managed to solve my issues for me quite fast. It took just a couple of minutes and I got to talk with a real human being almost instantly.

While InMotion offers phone, chat and email support I only used their chat support as that was enough for me to solve my problems.
Overall I would recommend InMotion Hosting to people that are confident that they’re creating a large scale project and don’t want to upgrade their plans that fast. Even with the cheapest plan InMotion offers so many features that most beginner level users won’t even come close to using that much.

And why pay for something you’re not going to use right? In that case you’re much better off choosing a web hosting provider like Bluehost where you’ll pay only half the price, but you’ll get half the features as well.
