  1. I'm looking forward to 19.3 but won't update till after the new year. 19.2 had a couple of bugs after final release but now runs great on my hardware. I love Mint but sometimes I think they rush releases a little bit just to keep the community happy.

  2. The relevant question with regard to Celluloid is why we would use that instead of VLC. Frankly, I find it a bit wasteful that so many developers are spending time on making their own mini-version of a video-player, ending up in a video-player which offers no advantage compared to VLC, instead of bundling resources and make VLC even better or working together on a competitor of VLC on Linux which we don't have yet. I recommend the Cinnamon developers to have a consistent dark theme at stock, now you have a nice dark theme for some items but a blinding 'white' theme for other items (like the file-manager but alos some items of Cinnamon itself). For me that would be an issue while using Cinnamon, I don't know if you can make it fully dark with the default options. Once you go dark you notice how sensitive we are for that blue light.

  3. You do need help and I'm here for you mate!! FYI Nemo is the best file manager, don't let Rocco influence you too much!! lol Great vid Rob, I'll have to find some time to check this out, Linux Mint Cinnamon has always been my go to distro. 🙂

  4. You can upgrade it after the final comes out according to the page. I will give it a try but thinking I will try the Mate version. Question can I use timeshift and backup 19.3 beta settings on a USB stick for example and when the final comes out.. install from scratch and restore from the USB settings or am I thinking about this incorrectly? Why install from scratch vs upgrade if you can.. pros vs cons?
