  1. Netbean is made with Java, NOT javascript, you see this is the slow speed of the editor, but atom/vsCode is made with javascript and work a lot better

  2. You made this video like you had to leave the house in 10 minutes to be on-time for work. Why the rush? Nonetheless, a few softwares I still need to check out.

  3. Not a single Adobe CC softwa- oh wait

In my humble opinion, Gimp is no competition to Adobe Photoshop in the software game, but it’s amazing piece of freeware. As for professionals, I think that saying that Gimp will be enough to replace PS is far from the truth, especially with the integration of other Adobe CC products (Illustrator for importing vector designs and animating them in PS frame by frame, or keyframing in After Effects and whatnot)

I think that freeware will never be the king in illustration, graphic design, animation and cinematography game since it requires continuous development, such as bug fixes and features that stand out (like AE+Ai integration). change my mind
It’s hard to replace Autodesk 3D animation (entertainment suite) tools and Adobe CC. (+ C4D)

  4. Great video, I am planning on dumping winblows and I am already using a bunch of these apps on winblows now, so its good to know I wont have to give up much. 🙂

  5. Minus for team viewer. Never install team viewer, never! You just present access to your PC to company owners and just hard to.guess whom else

  6. I've been trying and tossing VLC since I was a windows user long ago. There's always some reason it won't work for me. I think the last time I tried it and uninstalled it was when it wouldn't access music files on another volume.

  7. I really don't understand how you were able to skip Blender. It's an entire suite of software, which can do what most of the industrially accepted software can, all packed in a few hundred megs.
Also, in late 2018, Blender 2.80 beta was released! Oh, you gotta see blender's engine Eevee to believe it.

  8. Git, sublime text, Dropbox, texstudio, tilix, zsh, python, tensorflow, Android studio, react native, free but not open source: chrome, Google docs, Skype, slack, to name a few.

  9. No im sorry, but firefox sucks ass on linux, on windows its on par with chrome, but on linux it sucks ass!
