  1. I don't know what took me so long to figure that php is this great, most of the time I come across cool features when they already have a replacement, I guess not this time round, thanks guru

  2. It's worth noting that arrow functions in PHP 7.4 can't contain multiple instructions. It must be the return expression only. I'm not sure why have they decided to go that way, because these functions are USEful (pardon the pun) for better scope handling. I also wish they didn't decide to make it "fn" in favor of pure parentheses. JS's arrow functions are near perfect. These in PHP need a bit more love.

  3. Hi. The arrow functions in javascript are slightly different from the ordinary functions – they have access to the function's context so that you don't have to bind it. Is the same in PHP 7.4?

  4. it is indeed supported brother just change in the composer.json php version to 7.4 then phpstorm will recognize it.
cause he looks also into composer.json php version too to make everthing works correct.

  5. Looking forward to using arrow functions in 7.4!
I, too, think array spread should work exactly like array_merge. Maybe this will get adressed in a future version.
